I feel like the average NFL fan still underestimates how good Aaron Donald is primarily because most of the really amazing stuff he does happens with in 1-2 seconds of the ball being snapped and he’s often in the interior of the line. To really appreciate everything he does you kind have to watch him in slow motion. Especially, the stuff he does against the run. It’s also easier to see with an end zone angle. If you’re watching on tv with the usual angle sometimes it can be difficult to see what’s going on in the middle of the line. Plus, the average NFL fan is usually just watching where the ball goes.

I remember on Field Gulls Seahawks site during the draft, when Aaron Donald got drafted by the Rams, one Hawk fan said, "that's the one guy I was hoping the Rams wouldn't pick." He called it.

What's impressive about AD is the synchronization between his hands & feet, and the speed with which he operates both. He can beat you with either, but notice his subtle head feints. Guards can't process that fast. Toss in his innate power, and that is just too much stuff. He's the best for a reason. And yes, many Stafford thoughts! Good show! 💯👍🏾

Ad is really good at taking advantage of offensive linemen mistakes. He is strong and quick so you cannot allow him to bait you and you must initiate the contact and then let him beat you from there. Aaron Donald is the kind of Super Star player that will give you even more, if that's possible, after he gets rewarded for his play in a monster contract.
