This guy is literally walking film study on how to play on the defensive line. He’s unbelievable

Aaron Donald's CAREER LOW for sacks in a season is 8.

I'm a Falcons fan, and I vividly remember having to tolerate watching Aaron Donald big boy our O-Line during the 2017 playoffs. We won, but he sabotaged the offense the whole game, i mean scorched earth style. He's a freak, and I've envied the Rams ever since.

The greatest player in the NFL right now and the greatest defensive tackle in the history of the game. We have never seen another player like Aaron Donald

The man had a down year for his standard. It would still be a career year even for HoF DT. He's from a different planet. At the time of his retirement he may very well be the greatest defensive player ever

I think it’s time that we put Donald in the Reggie White, Deacon Jones tier of defensive lineman.

He’s already surpassed Warren Sapp imo.

My favorite play from Aaron Donald was in the super bowl where he just flung Tom Brady to the ground with no effort. Didn’t get a sack but the look and Tom’s face was hilarious.

His agility is off the charts for a person that size, holy shit

This video makes the Patriots O-line performance in the SB look way more remarkable. He just got close to Brady but never actually disrupted him. That would've been the difference.

As the game progresses and technology (ie training tools) progresses, the NFL game is going to have less and less "strong and FAT linemen". As Alex points out numerous times here, footwork and evasive agility wins you more battles at the trenches than any amount of brute strength. A combination of footwork, agility, AND strength is what the apex lineman should be. Aaron Donald is the epitome of that. We're seeing it first hand over the last 5 years in the NBA and I feel like we will inevitably see it in the NFL over the next 5-10 years. Linemen will be shredded 6'2"-6'4", 275 pounds, sitting at 8-10% body fat. The game is going to get even faster and faster across all positions.

I bet he could make most NFL rosters as a MIKE linebacker if he had to.

The defense you're facing gets one of Aaron Donald or prime JJ Watt. Which are you more scared of?

IMO he’s the best DL to ever do it. His combo of technique, agility, power, motor, and IQ are unmatched. 🐐

As Brian Baldinger pointed out in his breakdown, Donald might be the best interior defensive lineman to ever play the game. He has absolutely no weaknesses to his game. He has an answer for anything the O-line can throw at him.

He would make a frightening martial artist as well. So many quick moves and the ability to smash through someone's defense are formidable.

Best defensive player in the NFL for the past couple seasons and more seasons to come great video thank you!

Donald looks like this generation’s Lawrence Taylor. Just as dominant but more compact and I can’t see Taylor execute the moves Donald does on a down to down bases.

If i remember correctly wade philips said in his defensive course that donald did the opposite. He uses a jet technique to rush the passer and adjust to the run.

I just love how he flattened out after getting past the linemen. It's a gift.
