Douglas Murray: ‘Woke’ American schools are trying to ‘out-woke each other’

Author Douglas Murray says there have been all these cases of “woke” American schools trying to “out-woke each other”.

“It’s sort of grimly funny to watch,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith.

The American School in London has recently been downgraded by Ofsted, the British schools inspectorate, due to its heavy focus on teaching social justice.

US schools have always been marginal with more emphasis on sports than the curriculum. But now, sports may actually represent a more intellectual aspect than the curriculum.
