When I would drive around in my best friend's E400 4matic wagon, spc'd with all the gadgets, I never felt the urge to hoon around. Maybe the vibe is different now, but unless really necessary, it felt right to cruise with solid luxury purpose. Brown is making a comeback, so grandpa spec and tech spec are uniting. This E450 is a class act, even with the dumb plastic wheel arches. Great informative video.

If I had the chance to own only one car, this is what I would choose.

They are great looking and drive even nicer. There is a package called Night Pkg which blacks out the front and rear chrome trim, as well as the lower chrome piece and all window surround chrome trim and its only $200. My 2020 E450 wagon gets 505 miles range when doing long distance highway driving. It has a 20 gallon tank.

Mercedes owner here. For me Mercs are like Jennifer Aniston, they were great in the 90's but they got stuck there and with the recent car makers production cuts, they look lost. Not even gonna mention the fakery with the exhaust "openings" at the back. Great heritage, questionable design decisions and reliability problems these days. Not something we used to affiliate Mercedes with.

My guess is that it starts in 2nd gear even in sport mode. To get 4.6s you probably need to manually shift it to 1st or put it into some sort of launch mode.

I think this interior would look better if the screen floated over the dash— dash design as is looks bloated.

Although it’s an older design I still think the Audi a6 allroad is the best looking wagon.
