I use a 12.5% by weight. That way one bottle of Tenacious mixes with eight bottles of Elegoo ABS like with none left over. I did notice in my own testing that there is a significant improvement from 10% to 12.5% mix, as 10% did not give the durability I was looking for. I have read that going over 15% will start to noticeably impact the detail level of your prints.

I've done this with Phrozen Water washable resin and Tenacious at a 80% WW to 20% Tenacious. I was able to clean the models with water and they cleaned just fine. I tested the brittleness after curing by dropping the models on concrete from 5 feet and they bounced. The straight WW models shattered when tested. As for printing settings, I used the same setting for WW alone and WW with Tenacious mixture.

Im a recent convert to this mix too, but I've been hearing about a few other mixes I wanna try too. Great vid, man!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to help with action figure accessories. You’re a legend.

Been experimenting with the Tenacious and Anycubic resin for some Mandalorian armor. Really impressed with the Tenacious 👌

This is a fantastic vid- thank you! I had literally just ordered the ABS resin... and just now ordered the Tenacious!

Worth noting that Siraya suggests waiting about a day after curing before testing the durability of your mini - they note the curing process introduces heat related stresses and it takes about a day for the resin to 'settle' for max strength

I am using anycubic basic grey about 60% to 40% tenacious with my Photon Mono. I like the higher flex rare because I have preen printing things with long details smaller than my small supports that snap when clipping supports. At this ratio the prints seem almost indestructible. It's actually been good enough to print some.utilitsrian things.

Been doing this for the last 8 months. Works great.

Tenacious is expensive, but if you go with a 50/50 mix, none of those swords or staffs would break. They'd just bend, and then bend back.
When I was testing this I was using XP2 validation matrix plates, and with 50/50 Tenacious and Phrozen standard, I could get the entire plate to bend almost completely in half and touching, and it still bounced back.
The one other advantage to not using much Tenacious is that you don't have to re-figure out your settings. But in a monochrome printer you should be able to dial in a particular blend with XP2 plates in about an hour since it only takes like 2 minutes to print the plate.

Tenacious is awesome stuff. I have a helmet printed in combo of Siraya Tech Blu and Tenacious.

Thanks for sharing, dropped my Vigo head and didn't have a scratch on it, it was printed with Siraya Tech Fast Grey, noticed the resin becomes rock hard and very tough but has very little flexibility. For action figures i think a more flexible resin is required.

Dude a tip for you... next time you want to try this kinda of tests, print old looking statues. That way you can use it, even broken, to make some old temple with broken statues.

Recently I've been experimenting with residents and I use the Sierra tech abs-like resin which is only slightly more expensive than the elegoo abs like resin and I thought it had a lot of flux. I was going to use that instead of experimenting on mixing resins like this.

If ya over cure them it makes them brittle as well. Siraya tech fast resin you can spike on the ground and not have an issue except for super thin parts

I have been using 10-15% Blu v2 in my resin and it also give you a bit more durability, but without as much flexing in parts. so if you need the durability and don't want the parts to bend so much you can try that... I don't think the break point will be as high as the tenacious though but I have not tested this.

You make 3D Printing a much more welcoming world to be a part of! And what an exciting time for those of us who are! Jupiter goes live today!

Thanks for this informative video on Tenacious mixes! Any idea how it stacks against Ameralabs TGM7?

I use a 2 to 1 mix of Phrozen 4k aqua grey and Sirya tech fast grey. Fast grey is really brittle and I found the pigment content a little to high for my liking in the 4k resin. The combo prints great and is far more resilient then just fast grey.
