I am so relieved you use the proper PPE when using resin. There are horror stories out there from people having reactions that range anywhere from rashes to serious respiratory difficulties. Ventilation, nitrile gloves, and a respirator are a must.

I need to make a mold of a hand with curled fingers. I have a skeleton with soft foam hands, and I’d like to make a mold of those to cast in resin. My only concern is getting the hands out of the silicone once the silicone is dry. Since the hands are cupped, I don’t think I could just pull them out. Any advice?

(The hands were initially grabbing a pole, so think of that shape).
