Why r we always so nostalgic as a club and always look back? The KT of 2024 is not the 2016-2018 KT...money and fitness would have this as a no goer....yes some1 will say BR came back but managing club and playing r 2very different things

KT's wages & his injury record are two massive stumbling blocks IMHO.

He might accept a massive pay cut but even one-third of his current wages would still put him on 30-40K per week and make him one of Celtic's highest earners.

That then brings us to the 2nd stumbling block - Are we seriously going to hand out a 3 or 4 year contract to an injury prone player in his late 20's and pay him 30-40K per week? have we learned nothing from the James McCarthy signing?

I think we'd be better served by trying to develop Alex Valle and paying his €3 million buy-out clause from Barcelona next summer

No thanks, Arsenal bought him injured from us, end up paying silly wages for a player who shouldn’t have left in the first place. Love the guy, proper Celtic supporter but; he’s done, I know he’s young but his best years are behind him leave them there.

Certainly hope not, maybe a personal ego trip for him playing the returning hero, but Greg Taylor’s our left back and doing a great job, GT all day, KT no way

I wonder how many of Tierneys injuries relate to being overplayed at Celtic...? I would take him back if he can play 30 games a season. But not as a left back. Left centre back...

Kt can't play twice a week.. or if he does he, l be out for a rest or injured.. so he’s not great value relative to the cost. Having said that I think we’re a bit responsible for his physical predicament. I E painkilling injections under Rodger’s in his first spell . Nevertheless he’d give us a massive lift if he signed
