These different iterations between the generations of 7 series models in this way exudes the metamorphosis through each redesign which represents the BMW design language. Almost timeless at each one.

I have been spoilt driving the Seven for near 35 years now (1982 to present) 4 variants from the E23 to the E65. I could be just the most loyal customers of the model in the world since its introduction in 1977. Does anyone know any other driver who has driven one nearly everyday for over three decades?

my E66 is the best I've driven. The F02 actually fells more like my friends LS460l. The E66 still has an edge that I attributed to the E38, which is still one of my favs. People complain about the Bangle design, but almost every automaker copied it and when it was in production, it sold the most 7's ever. I keep my E66 maintained and still have a hard time imagining driving anything else outside of the vanity of having the newest out there. I appreciate the drive daily and though it is nowhere near the technological equal of the new '16, I still love the way it dominates the asphalt when I am on long drives. I have a relationship with the only tech who has worked on mine for the past 13 years and he constantly tells me I have one of the "good ones" and I finally grasp what he meant now that there are very few still around from the '03 - 05's. I would never put down other 7's, but when it comes to the driving dynamics, the E66 was groundbreaking for a large car and it wasn't until I drove one that I felt I had to have one. Previously, I only drove sports cars and never considered a "luxo barge".
