Really helpful to see an average golfer. I have a crazy slice and I got this driver and I actually was able to accidentally hit a draw lol. With the Stealth I never hit a draw ever.

Took it to the range and reduced the slice. Gonna take it out on the course tomorrow to see if it can turn my 30 yard slice into something that stays on the short stuff.

Thank you for these normal golfer reviews. I'm definitely below normal this helps a lot

I just had a Driver Fitting a week ago. During the fitting I did hit both the Callaway and the Ping. To me the Callaway was spinning too much for my swing. Overall, the Ping G430 LST is what I went with over the Callaway and the Cobra. I will say the Callaway does look nice. Glad to see this video. I am a 14-15 Handicap and it is nice to see someone who isn't a Scratch reviewing clubs.

Great to see a video from an average golfer and not scratch players - bit more realistic for most 👍

Was fit for a g425, used it for 2 weeks..hated it. Tried every driver available. Narrowed it down to the Titleist tsi2 and the paradym. Ended up w/the paradym as it is longer and more accurate.Has made a big difference off the tee.

I ended up with the Paradym X 9 degree. Love it, it looks great and gives me so much confidence at address. Drove the ball more accurately than I ever have last weekend. Get whatever gives you the most confidence.

Would’ve liked to see your results with different shaft configurations/options, loft settings, and lies.

Attack angle is probably the stat for you to look at. You are hitting down with the driver, when you hit up, you can reduce that spin A LOT --> increased distance and go straighter

Man, you should think about a 10.5 driver with a stiff shaft medium launch IMHO

Definitely makes the case for getting fit. I’d be willing to bet that both clubs lost distance compared to your G425 if your spin numbers were regularly 1, 000 rpm less than your averages with the two new drivers. If you were to get dialed in I suspect the distance gains with the Callaway would start to look very enticing, however you likely lose a bit of consistency when compared to either of the Ping models.

Just coming across your video. I’ve been swinging a Burner thats 15 years old. Finally invested in my first Driver. Went with the G430. Did it help with your slice at all?

Refreshing to see a normal golfer club test. But I reckon you'd pick up more yards fixing your out to in swing than getting a new club.

I just went for a fitting and came back home with my Ping G425. I tried the G430, Callaway Paradym, TM Stealth 2 and Titleist TSR2 and didn't hit any of them better than my G425. I did not like the Stealth 2 at all. I usually hit it straight or a baby draw but the Stealth 2 kept wanting to go right. The only one I considered buying was the Paradym. I didn't hit it as consistently well as my G425 but when I did hit it good it was a couple of yards longer. To me it isn't worth $500 to gain 1 or 2 yards especially if I can't hit that club as consistently. I know that this is just me but I was a little disappointed with the G430. I actually hit it a few yards shorter than the G425. For me the G430 launched a bit too high and had about 200 rpm's more back spin. I am somewhat disappointed because I am 61 and hoped for more yards but I can hit my G425 about 240-245 consistently and hit about 80% of fairways with it so I will be keeping it until at least next year.

Could you please compare Ping G430 Max Driver vs Titleist TSR2/TSR3?

I have recently bought the Ping G430 driver and fairway woods

That negative attack angle is killing your distance. You need another 3-5º on your launch angle

Can you share the specs of the shafts you played?

Tough to compare drivers and what they can do when you have that negative angle of attack with high spin.. Your spin its unbelievably high. It's not that difficult to correct. Some changes to try and see what works -- Tee it slightly higher, place ball off lead big toe, spread feet more, set slight spine angle away from ball.
