I just want to point out how amazing the "now you're speaking my language part was" because shaggy says earlier he doesn't understand Japanese but when it was about food he knew immediately

The ending has me thinking Shaggy just knows the phrase for "Let's eat" in multiple languages and I'm ok with that

Something that I realized was that shaggy understands Luigi when he talks about eating. It's not that shaggy didn't understand Japanese, but instead he speaks food

I like the detail of Luigi, a character made by a Japanese company, speaking Japanese, while Shaggy, a character made by an American company, speaks English.
