Some may question his methods, but the God of War only wants what’s best for his… *clears throat*... BOY! It’s Father vs Son, Dad vs Parenting For Dummies, Kratos vs Atreus in BOY: God of War Battle Rap!

While the promise of tough battles in God of War Ragnarok looms over Kratos, no doubt featuring plenty of giants, draugr and ogres – not to mention the threat posed by Baldur, Magni, Modi, and the Chris Hemsworth lookalike, Thor – the bald-headed Spartan needs Atreus to step up. And there's only one way he can get his son to do that. It’s time for Kratos to obtain double god status: the GOW (God of War) is also now the GOR (God of Rapnarok).

Fun fact: Kratos calls Atreus boy because when those lines of dialog were recorded they didn't have a name for Atreus.

can we just appreciate kratos for doing everything to change himself despite what he has done, will do, and still hold back his nature to preserve Faye's wish for the future of him and her son? the willpower of kratos is unwavering and it is very inspiring to see a man so low being the best he can for a future that doesnt involve himself.

I think my favorite line is;

"Sins of the father
Sins of the son;
He can't know what I've done."

As that was one of the major plot points of the game, 10/10

I love the way the meaning "Come here Boy, Stay there Boy, Sit down Boy, Stand up Boy" changes from a father trying to keep his distracted boy in check to actual lessons on how to fight via the animation. And then they change to "Get them Boy, Dead them Boy, Smash them Boy, Slay them Boy", essentially changing from Learning to Experienced.

I love how this reflects the game. Kratos may be the singer/the player character, but the song and game are both about Atreus' growth more than Kratos' god slaying
