NOTE: Though I sterilized the jars, this step really isn't necessary - especially given the pH of the apple cider vinegar and since these are "fridge" peppers. It's more or less a habit that became second nature from years of beer brewing, wine making and pressure canning. It certainly doesn't hurt to do it, but probably overkill for this recipe.

WOW! On our homestead garden we had an abundance of jalapeños. I gave away to our neighbors thinking I can only can so much salsa. Then searching for ideas for jalapeños I came across your recipe. Today was 2 weeks (waiting anxiously) 😉 All my husband and myself can say is WOW! Soooo good! Thank you Steve. You totally rock, and of course your lovely wife!! She’s awesome! Steve, thank you so much for this recipe and all the others you share. I have been binge watching your videos. We have a lot of jalapeños from our garden and made a batch of these and they are delicious! We will be making more! I also just made your easy heavy cream/vinegar salad dressing. Fantastic recipe! I love all you share, your experiments on yourself, in the kitchen and watching your reactions. Your facial expressions readily reveal your thoughts and it's cool to see that. I'd never heard of Cowboy Candy, but you've introduced me to My NEW Pickles!!!! I'll never buy pickles again.
I made three 8 oz jars, two days ago & was wondering how I'd be able to wait a week, let alone 2 (as suggested).
As luck would have it, one did not seal 😃 👏🏻
I'm pleased to share they are still FANTASTIC the day after!
I'm so glad I got the mandolin!! I'm going to need bigger jars!!!

They go perfect with my "pizza rolls" both hot & cold and are the perfect crunch on a burger! I can't wait to mix some of the juice in my eggs (that video is what brought me to this recipe).

I made this recipe - I am about to make more❣
This is easy- except for the waiting, while they do their thing in the fridge. I am obsessed, sooo soo good🤤. You do have to enjoy a little heat, but it really balances nicely with the sweetness, imo - I used them on everything from salads to steaks❣
It does make alot (it's only me eating them), this time I am going to cut the recipe in half.

Oh man! My mom got me hooked on Ritz crackers, cream cheese and candied Jalopenos. Yummo. Now I just need a keto Ritz cracker! I imagine it would be yummy just cream cheese and candied Jalopeno!

One day late! Had goat cheese spread onto pork rinds last night...was looking for keto preserves to top with. Ended up using tiny amount of full sugar preserves. This would’ve been perfect! Gonna make some now and for Christmas gifting too.
