for the 1st time since '83, i am pulling for state. not over the heels but anyone else they play. sorry but i like burns and a couple other of their players. indifferent on keatts. need dook to not make it to next weekend. pulling for clemson as well against other non-heels teams. but what is it with the heels running into msu all the time in the tourney? not as bad as ku who have eliminated us 4 times since '08 as we have usually eliminated msu. nervous about that game.

this is a heels team when playing their A game, may be the best team in the country. they just cannot put multiple A games back to back in a row. their best run of the season where they looked unstoppable was from the 2nd half of the state game in chapel hill, then nd, then dook and then fsu. but reverted back to their B- game vs. pitt and state. B- was not good enough to beat state. even yesterday they looked out of sync until the last 10 minutes then they looked great. but they were playing as weak of a team as i can recall them playing in the ncaat.

i fear the worst case scenario, unc falling and dook advancing, is more likely than the best case, the reverse. no scientific rationale behind that statement. msu is a well coached talented team who handled miss st. dook will certainly win today and if they play their A game, they will beat wisc whom i am confident will also win today. would love to see clemson make it to the 16. for the acc, obviously the best case is for unc, dook, state and clemson to advance to next weekend. tired of hearing how the acc sucks, yada yada. acc has been the best conference in NCAA history and it is not even close.
