Here’s why they’re the best race in the player’s handbook:

-Along with Half-elves, Half-Orcs are somewhat caught between two different cultures, leading to a wealth of great roleplay opportunities and room for an interesting backstory.

-They have tusks

-Daddy Gruumsh blessed his people with strong backs and tough hides, you get those same benefits. Laugh at your puny wizard’s meager CON score.

-Or if magic is your thing then you’ll be able to become the best muscle wizard this side of the College of Winterhold

-It’s completely acceptable to yell and speak with a cockney accent at any given time, anyone who says otherwise is probably racist.

-You have glorious dental protrusions coming out of your mouth

-You can glare at that dude across the bar and make him stop staring at your magnificent calcium rich lower incisors thanks to your intimidating stature

-With relentless endurance, you are THE ULTIMATE “hold my beer” race, you see those chumps that got taken out by the meteor swarm over there? As long as you don’t outright die you can shrug that off like nothing. Lich? More like BITCHASS SPOOK WIZARD amirite?

-The Orcish language and culture is one of music and beauty, the elves secretly wish they had thought of the war drum because so many are moved to tears when they hear it. Why else would a group of trained musicians be called an Orchestra?

-Did I mention that they have tusks? That guy across the bar sure noticed judging by how he’s staring longingly into your eyes...

-Finally, when your other friends decide to also play Half-Orcs because of how amazing they are, have no fear! Orc skin tones range from slate grey to deep green so all da boyz kan be yuneek wile also choppin hedz like da ded ‘ard bosses dey are.

I love how savage attacks specifies you only get one die. Which makes weapons that deal higher damage per die ideal, like the greataxe. Such a cool way to nudge you into the direction or a raging barbarian with a greataxe
