I love this campsite... bird sanctuary and a beach.

Family of 8 here... we would go camping most summers.
The past few years, we've been going in early fall. Such a memorable experience.

My husband will show the kids some survival and bushcraft skills when we're out.
Wish I could share some pics of our setups.

Oh my we had those blankets growing up I'm 34 i haven't seen those in ages

Great set-up! Very similar to ours, but we need a lot more blankets where we live. 75 at night! Our forests are usually much colder at night, but we like getting cozy in the tent after enjoying the stars. And laundry! That is awesome. I don't think I have ever been to a campground with laundry, but we tend to stick with the public lands (national forests, national parks, and state parks.) We also always have to keep our cooler and food bin put away because of the bears.
Looks like a beautiful place to visit!

Just a safety tip from an experienced Bushcrafter, bear spray is not effective and is known to agitate bears. It is far better to have slug shots ready to defend yourself and your children. God bless.
