Man the thing I loved so much about the LOB was that it was an era when you WANTED the defense on the field because those guys played defense like they were on offense. I was in the north bleachers when Kam laid that hit on Vernon Davis in 2012. I remember hearing pads cracking from up near the top. The only thing that made the crowd go even crazier was when Sherm ran back a blocked FG a few plays later.

We were at that Atlanta game. They looked so good. I was convinced that had hawks won that game, they would have beaten the 49ers the following week and gone to the SB. So much young talent.

This brings back so many memories. The Hawks stayed at my hotel for training camp starting in 2011 and I feel such a special connection to these guys that I watched go from rookies to Super Bowl champions. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
