How lame quests are made

Little did the Brave Adventurer know, this was actually the start of a side questline of getting to the bottom of what's with said NPC's laziness, getting his work ethics and motivation for life back
It's a beautiful character arc, a little meta, but really good

The A.I. on these NPCs is getting really advanced. I thought A.I. would evolve to be super intelligent and a potential threat, rather than just lazy-arsed.

I have sometimes wondered what the reason behind some quests are. "The farm is under duress champion, and in order to fix this, we will need 40 alpha lizard spleens"
