🙏🏻 HOW WE CAN PRAY FOR NORTH KOREA🙏🏻
🙏🏻 Pray for the believers
The exact number is unknown, as people of the Christian faith are severely punished, including public executions, but it is estimated that there are around one million Christians in North Korea. Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen these believers. Pray the peace of God would rule in their heart.
🙏🏻 Pray for the hungry
Pray for the Lord’s miracles to be real in their lives and that he would provide them both physical & spiritual food to nourish their bodies & souls.
🙏🏻 Pray for missionary training for North Korean defectors
By God's election and grace, among the youths of North Korean refugee brothers and sisters, there are members who pray to return to their old hometowns and become the seeds of the gospel on the day when South and North are unified. Please pray that they will be strengthened in body and mind with the words of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the grace of God so that they can take on their duties as trained missionaries for the unification through the gospel.
❤️Your contribution addresses all ministry needs.
Thank you for your prayer and donation with Jesus' heart.

North Korea is currently suffering from starvation due to economic collapse caused by a surge in essential necessities prices as trade with China has been halted and the lack of support from the international community amid the ongoing aftermath of the COVID-19.
Even in a situation that has made the North Korean defection regulations more severe after COVID-19, life-threatening escapes have been made in order not to die of starvation.
Just as the wilderness awaited the Israelites who crossed the Red Sea and escaped from Egypt, China as the wilderness for defectors awaits the North Koreans who risked their lives to escape from North Korea. The Chinese government, which has close relations with North Korea, is taking measures to repatriate North Koreans if they are found. Currently, defectors repatriated to North Korea are at risk of being executed.
The number of North Koreans currently hiding in China is estimated to be between 30,000 to 50,000. According to a statement issued by Human Rights Watch(HRC) on July 22, 2021, at least 1,170 North Koreans are detained in China and will be sent back to North Korea.
As defectors repatriated to North Korea face torture, sexual violence, and forced labor, it is imperative that North Koreans hiding in China be quickly moved to a safe place.
Because of the vulnerability of North Korean defectors who cannot receive help even if they are treated unfairly, they are abducted and sold into prostitution, organ trafficking, or forced labor in China. Also, due to the 'one family, one child policy' implemented in China, the gender imbalance is currently severe, and many North Korean refugee women are being sold as wives to men in rural areas who have no marriage partners. However, even in those families, numerous North Korean refugee women who are being abused and not receiving humane treatment have been continuously requesting rescue from Caleb Mission.
This video is an actual rescue video of 8 people, including children, who contacted Caleb Mission through God's grace.
In order to escape from China and move to a safe place, North Korean defectors have to travel over 10,000 km on a rough road, avoiding checkpoints scattered all over the country. They have to do a 12-hour night march through a mountain infested with venomous snakes, and sometimes they have to cross the Mekong River by a small wooden boat. Even at this moment, Caleb Mission's missionary workers are with the North Korean defectors on their perilous escape journey to save precious lives 24/7.
We need your prayers and support to safely escape North Korean refugees to a place where human rights and freedoms are guaranteed.
It costs about 9,000 USD to rescue an adult. To rescue orphans (Kotjebi: The term literally means "flowering swallows", given because of the kotjebi's constant search for food and shelter) need additional manpower to walk through mountains and fields with young children on their backs, therefore costing about 13,000 USD to 17,000 USD.
In addition, a minimum of 3000 USD is required every month for religious education for North Korean refugees by a local missionary, as well as for maintaining Safe Houses.
It costs a lot, but rescuing them and sharing the gospel like Jesus, who valued one soul more than the world, is the most valuable thing in the world. Even at this very moment, you can save souls from dying in North Korea and hiding out in China.
Thank you so much for being interested in saving lost souls and reading a long letter. God bless you. 🙏🏻❤️
