I do wish Zakuul's conquest would be covered one of these days. It was very similar to the Yuuzhan Vong war: A third party appearing out of Wild Space and wiping the floor with both sides until they banded together. The biggest cost was that Zakuul would force the galaxy into a resource shortage that lasted well after they were defeated.

I view the Rebel Alliance like the French Resistance against Nazi Occupation during WW2 many in the French Resistance had different goals and political ideologies of what France should look like after the country was liberated just like the rebels trying to figure out how the galaxy should be run once the Empire was overthrown

On a related topic, it was stupid for the Republic to demilitarize itself after the Ruusan Reformation because any government with a military should keep it around to defend itself in case of future conflicts. If the Republic hadn't done that, they would've been better prepared come the Separatist crisis.

I think the Sith Wars during the Old Republic era were probably the bloodiest conflict in Star Wars taking more lives then the Galactic Civil War and the Clone Wars combined

Great choices, though number 3 wasn't called the "Great Galactic Civil War" it was the "Great Galactic War". With the High Republic era being made it will be interesting to see if anything from that will affect this list.
