I will be honest, the fact they could maintain an overall good steady fps at launch is a salute from me. Sure it’s toned down on everything graphically but lots of games come out ported with switch with zero effort and at times abandoned that way.

Alot of people will say "this is why we need switch 2" but i have to point out that maybe they shouldn't have even tried to port this to switch because well this simply is not the game for it

As someone qho isnt a stickler for graphics and doesnt mind 30 fps, this was bad. Hopefully its just a launch issue and gets fixed.

I'm not planning on upgrading to a series anytime soon so this might be the avenue I pursue

60% may sound low for this channel, but at least it's still not as painful as Arkham Knight's Switch port right now, something fine that was always a toughie for Switch in the first place.

I really appreciate the performance review of Switch titles. It's unfortunately often a sticking point.

A little constructive criticism: When you're showing framerates/frametimes, if the graph is the same colour as the coordinate system, and the graph is totally straight and right on a line (e.g. the top) for a good while, it just looks like the system is empty. Or the analysis isn't running yet. If you make it a different colour (e.g. red) it's easier to see right away what's going on.

I got this game today on my switch (which was made in 2020) and it overall runs alright but at some points it gets extremely laggy and stutters which sucks because it bothers my eyes

Some of this could be patched out. But somehow one would expect this game be broken at launch because it's goat simulator... To be fair they should have sold this at a 50% sale to make up for it.
