Goat Simulator 3 Switch Review

I was hunched over my desk in the wee hours of the morning here in Australia with an extra-strong coffee, waiting for the Nintendo Direct. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but there were some great surprises, and the one game I was really excited for was the much-beloved cult sequel, Goat Simulator 3. My mates and I laughed at the game trailer and I knew I just had to cover it. What's It Like? Eat some grass, prepare for mayhem, and get ready to hoof it from the cops as we review Goat Simulator 3 for Nintendo Switch.

Also I am pretty sure there's a bug in the how it's made quest that makes it impossible because one of the pieces you need won't spawn

There are some events that won't load in, so if you want to 100% complete the game like finding all the trinkets, you won't be able to do Swedes Assemble if the planks won't load and the blue boxes won't break.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit I grabbed this one as soon as it dropped. I enjoyed the previous game so much I didn't even stop to think. Turns out I really should've waited for some reviews (esp yours, since we have such similar tastes, ha). I don't usually mind a bit of pop in, etc on the Switch, but this is by far the worst I've seen. I agree, it feels like the release was rushed to match the Nintendo Direct date. I *really* hope we see a patch at some point. Hate to see so much potential go to waste - not to mention feeling just a tad ripped off atm. Oh well, live and learn, right?

On a brighter note, at least we saw some decent title announcements. What's your favorite from the direct?

I blame Nintendo on this one. Im thinking they really wanted it for the Nintendo direct. Now imagine being coffe stain studio and telling Nintendo its not ready. Ill forgive coffee stain studios if they get a patch out this week.

Major bugs! Some early missions like swedes assembly and Bilbo's journey you can't even complete. So I'm shelving the game. No point in playing when the whole point in playing is to complete as many missions as you can.

I'm actually really disappointed in this one. I really wanted to play this and when I watched reviews I decided to give it a miss. It really got my hopes up and then flattened them.

The game isn't even on PS4, why are they trying to port a ps5 game onto the switch?

Lazy port. I've come to accept a certain amount of pop in with Switch games. This is some of the worst I've seen.
Even if they patch everything, I'm struggling to see the value.

This sucks. I wanted this game so bad. But now i see that the game is teribble on the only device i can play it on.
