This is a prime example of why more people need to get more prepared and think about "Emergency Preparedness Management" for both your home and vehicles. I also think Canada's government should consider having or building Sea Water Distilled Plants that turn Sea Water into Fresh Water on both coasts or if not entire facilities then convert oil tankers or oil rigs off the coast that do the same thing. I know the India CEO of 5 Hour Energy did this with oil tankers to turn Sea Water into Fresh Water for serious drought stricken regions of India and parts of Africa. I would also recommend to them investing in water tanker sprinkler and extinguisher grenade dropping drones.
