Paul, as an Irish woman who really likes the idea of tiny house living, approaching retirement, no chance of a mortgage, but ALSO unfortunately has no DIY skills, nor parents/ friends with such - in fact, no drivers licence - no land, and not a huge budget,
I would love to hear about how you managed with things like planning permission, amenities access - or did you go off grid? I see so many videos about how much the outdoor/ indoor space matters... and thinking Ireland... the damp, rain, humidity, even muddy access roads has to be an issue... Can you enlighten me/us? (Can't be the only one thinking this way... I could afford the build... but the other costs?

Fantastic video, great to see how things worked out for you. You mentioned in another comment that you might consider doing a video on budget for the build. That would be interesting (and of course the costs keep changing and going up and sometimes down) but also the skills needed, the equipment needed or not needed. Your perspective is quite valuable because as you said you came to it without necessarily having done similar things in the past. So unlike a lot of other YouTube videos, yours seem to have a lot more handy insights for the uninitiated!

Following a YT channel called 1mancaravan. He lives in a converted box trailer and uses a desiccant dehumidifier and finds it very good. He cooks indoors and showers too. Keeps it dry for him and produces a bit of heat too. Might be of interest.

great build! I wud b interested in doing similar ... but the problem is where to put it? Im assuming u can put it on someone elses land who already resides on their own land in a house? Can you put on purely agricultural land that has no existing house on it? Is this allowed... as its on wheels? Would really love to know! This could be a game changer for me

Hi Paul, I'm interested in doing what you have done with your Tiny Home. May I ask what are the essentials at the beginning of the process. From looking at the video it seems your tiny home is part of a larger construction site and it seems to be a structure that's built upon a trailer? Would you recommend that I buy land of a certain acreage first and then buy the trailer? Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
