This #EASY banana bread #recipe is a favorite in our home. It features a delicious quick bread with a cinnamon almond streusel with a taste that you cannot beat!

Our fun variation on the typical banana bread recipe elevates this easy recipe to a gourmet loaf. The simple streusel creates an amazing sugary crunch to the top and add bits of delicious nutty flavors in each bite. You'll think you've just purchased this from a 5 star bakery!!!

In times of #quarantine and #saferathome we wanted to give you recipes with ingredients you may have lying around the house.

This is the perfect recipe to make when those bananas are turning a little TOO ripe. :)

BT Banana Bread with Cinnamon Almond Streusel
Yields One 9"X 5" Loaf pan

Batter:
115g unsalted butter
205g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
56g sour cream
240g ripe bananas (mushed up with a fork)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
280g All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Cinnamon Almond Streusel:
56g unsalted butter
56g granulated sugar
35g almond flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Hi from Trinidad and Tobago. I enjoy your videos and will be trying your lemon rosemary buttercream as soon as the coronavirus shutdown is over. Is it possible to use buttermilk in placd of sourcream? Its quite pricey here.
