So what's with the Perfectly Preserved Pie? It is rarely spotted and always over priced in players vendors. What does it do? Where do you get it? why is it so expensive? And can you make it in real life?

People started selling the toilet paper in their vendors for outrageous amounts of caps during the beginning of the COVID pandemic as a joke because of how much toilet paper cost back then.

I messed about getting 6 for a friend to go in a display, only for them to say, 'Oh I want to get them myself'. So I guess at some point I'm making a diner that sells pie! :) I haven't seen the cook book but I kinda want to get it now. Thanks for the video.

Really digging the history. The public needs this. A good video would be about Strangler Heart Power Armor that you could only get via Raids in Vault 94. You’d have to get a really proper crew to run.

Hearing about your pie obsession was hilarious, since I have this obsession too, though i refuse to go back to those port-a-diners ever again. I so wish I could put food inside the eat-o-tronic at my camp!

Friend of mine got that cookbook. The recepies seem proper and his sample of a "Deathclaw"-steak was very tasty. :)

In Fallout 4 they were almost impossible to get until the Junkyard in the Nuka World DLC !

After over 5 years on FO76 I've had well over 300 pies most of the time using ( My 3rd try for the Pie glitch ) 2 tries then find a new location for the it works of the time.

After the first 100 I started dropping them to new players or if I'd see a player trying for one at the machine w/o any luck I'd drop one 😉

I have the cookbook! Haven't made anything from it, just wanted it as a collectible. They also turn things like Stimpack and Radaway into alcholic beverages you can make. Lots of nice pictures in there too.

WOW! You collected that many! I am not sure how more or less difficult that is in 76 vs 4, but i still feel that is quite an achievement. I always felt that the Perfectly Preserved Pie was more of a "Trophy Piece" to be displayed, not sold. because of the high difficulty in getting it out of the vending machines.

The new worthless get is the Presidential Power Suit. They patched the glitch that allowed you to steal it in Whitesprings so it's truly a rare item now AFAIK. I had about eight so I double the price every time one sells; currently sits at 20K caps.

Managed to get two pies on the first try so far, I've been bored and sat there and clicked forever for some of the other ones though, so seems my luck balanced out lol.
Also, I have that cookbook, the recipes are all really good so far. The chicken masala and these like... Chicken pinwheel things? (Can't remember the fancy name) are our favorites. I should try some of the desserts one of these days.

Yeah so true. I use toilet paper for this. As a matter of fact. I have 4 rolls for the price of 40000 caps a piece. Don’t want to get my items taken using that vendor glitch.
