MagicAyrtonforever Couldn't direct reply to your comment for some reason. Yes your T500 will work on the PS4. Will all depend on the developer/game like you mentioned. I know Thrustmaster is working with as many as they can to make sure the T500 and T300 are compatible with all new PS4 titles. PCars and I think Drive Club will both work with a T500.

What about specifications in comparison with T500RS ? Torque ? Force feedback level ? What are the advantages of a brushless motor ? the drawbacks ?
Thanks !

Nice video Darin (as always). For anyone who is interested this wheel is currently available for purchase in both configurations (GTE Rim & T300 RS Rim) in Australia. Goes for around $500 AUD. Just had the GTE Rim version arrive in the post today. So far so good, very happy with the product.

Thrustmaster pushed the release date back to the 25th or 29th. The T3PA pedals are also delayed unfortunately.

I see it priced in webstores over here in Belgium. Because the T500RS is out a long time now, the price has gone down a lot. But the T300RS is much closer to listprice. T500RS = 350 Euro and T300RS = 320 Euro. You would have to be crazy to go for the T300RS right now.

Was wondering, can you match it with the t500. Oke pedals are much better at the t500. And offcource the static pedalshifters on the t500 who are in my eyes crap. Offcourse there is a option to remove. But i mean force feedback wise and reliability wise. Cause as i read the reviews of the tx 458 a lot of those rims died after a couple of hours racing. Reall need a wheel and dont know what to choise. I like the t300 but maybe the t500 will be a bit more reliable? I liked the tx458 aswell but after reviews with a lot of issues, i didnt like it that much anymore.
Btw: running on the PC platform

I sure wish the TX would have shipped with a beefy stock rim like that over having the chunky plastic rim just for the Ferrari branding. I hope they ironed out all the defect issues many of the TX wheels had for this wheel. I probably would have gotten this for GT6 and for PS4 if they had any racing games but since they don't I went Xbox One with Forza and the TX wheel which I'm really happy with. I think I prefer the stock TX pedal faces over the T300's but I plan on getting the T3PA pedals soon and I wish they would hurry up and get that shifter out. I'm curious to know whether the T300 wheel feels any different or has stronger FFB or any other features that would differentiate the base from the TX.

Dayum! Thrustmaster is really starting to offer some great entry level sim gear. Almost all their new gear is upgradeable, 1080° rotation, belt driven, all good stuff. The fact that their stuff is modular is a major plus! I just don't know how fast it can turn or if it is fast enough to easily slide around with.

Great review Darin, Will my T500RS work on PS4 then? Or is it down to the game ie. Gran Turismo 7 when it lands.

Looks like Thrustmaster knocked it out of the park with this one as well! I got the TX wheel for my XB1 but it's good to see PS4 finally getting one and one that seems to be better non the less! the 1080 rotation compared to the 900 on the TX is better and the fact that this package comes with basically the GTE rim is definitely a plus considering I had to buy the rim and the wheel set (the 458 italia rim feels cheap), and plus being compatible with 3 systems compared to the 2 that the TX is so all in all, great job Thrustmaster! Mad Catz could learn a thing or two...

Hello Inside Sim Racing. Great video. I got a T300 and I`d like your help with assembling it. When you attach the wheel on the base, there is a small Philips screw in that round part. When I am tightening that screw, am I supposed to go all the way down with it? I am worried about damaging some part. Thanks!

Is the internals of T300RS the same as T500RS? i want the very strong FFB and precise steering.
