Also? I often find I’m staring at someone because I’m trying to read non-verbal cues. Pretty sure that’s also the reason why the other person stares at me as well—and yep, we both have social anxiety. When you’ve been burned you’re often stuck trying to “read” someone to gage if they are *safe* or not—and it often has nothing to do with the person, but your own history. And vice versa

So…I’m just letting myself be “read.” It does feel a little unsettling after spending my whole social life either fading into the background for safety or being blatantly myself in defiance, but I’m smart enough to figure out when someone needs non-verbal cues, too, even if direct verbal ones are more comfortable (but also carry more risk when dealing with social anxiety caused by social trauma.)

Idk. I'm 42. I've had 1 night stands but, I'm in a relationship with someone I've known over 17 years. Growing up most of my friends were forbidden to associate with me and though young ladies would speak to me for hours on the phone they'd spit in my eye in public. The next town over was no problem.

I have noticed that what most women want from men is money just like most men like a pair of firm tits. The only woman I've ever met that don't focus on money has been women with trust funds or otherwise have access to free income. Everyone else I've ever met that is female has been focused primarily on money and I hate it it ruins everything. The moment something good becomes turns to shit and gets expensive.
