Danton Char’s research strives to improve understanding of the ethical challenges influencing decision-making in complex pediatric illness, the impact ethical challenges have on the lives of children and their caregivers, and to empirically develop ethical guidance for implementation of novel technologies to complex care (such as Ventricular Assist Devices, Genomic Sequencing, and Machine Learning).
