Watch until the end...for an up close and personal encounter with Dzuweni, an impressive emerging big tusker in the Kruger National Park.
He was peacefully feeding in some open grassland as he moved slowly towards us, showing no signs of irritation at all. We could see that he was in musth and prone to sudden changes in mood so we made sure that both the elephant and our safari vehicle had an easy escape route if needed.
He eventually came very close and forced us to move out of his way, letting us know that he is the boss! A priceless treasured moment to be in such close proximity to a magnificent large tusker bull elephant.
