for yall who struggle w letter heights, i would recommend using french-ruled paper! you can find the rules for proportions online, and if you follow the rules (no matter if your style is french cursive or not), your cursive will be proportionate. clairefontaine makes french-ruled (aka seyes paper) books, and you can find templates online.

I have began using a fountain pen for the first time this week, and I never felt any sort of pleasure in writing until I wrote for the first with it yesterday, (a Jinhao x750 and Pelikan's brilliant black) I am waiting for the 'Spencerian Theory and Copy Book' to arrive.

For casual training at home, nothing necessarely precise, as I understand this question is likely too vague; do you recommend a general paper grammage to use? 90g perhaps? Thank you.
