Man we can’t catch a break… can we move to a planet where being back doesn’t matter so we can just be like everyone else? It feels like there’s a stigma that followed us no matter where we go

I will never understand the negative comments. Did y’all read the title of the video? It’s obviously a video geared towards sharing the experience of BLACK WOMEN dating in Korea. So obviously people are going to share their personal experiences ..because that’s the question that’s been asked of them. Stop spinning your own narratives..or making assumptions, and actually listen to what is being said. Or better yet, continue scrolling. Reading some of these responses has me questioning the intelligence of some of the people who chose to comment.

As you can see in the video ….being Black doesn’t mean you’re American. These women hail from different countries in different continents. We do not all share the same culture. Black people are not monolithic. Hence the need to hear the perspectives of multiple different black women who work and live in Korea. Versus just one interview with one woman and then moving on.
Y’all are so annoying! 🙄

We forget that foreigners CAN date in Korea if they broaden their options and not just focus on Koreans. I met a Russian here in Korea and getting married in less than two months.

The only thing I'll be dating in South Korea is the food!! God I'm obsessed with the food! just so delicious! That's the main reason I'll be there for besides sightseeing and skin care. KOREAN FOOD ❤❤ DELICIOUS 🤤

This is so sad that in 21 century people are struggling from being prejudice by skin color or nationality. This reminds me witch hunting in middle centuries. This is so odd and old minded.

I gotta give props to those that can move to a foreign country and start all over there, I don’t know if I could ever do that and be far away from friends and family and then the language barrier

OMG, the second to last lady in this video, she's been on other videos doing those chair sit down question things. I think she's a model and also a singer or rapper!! The one with the black coat and white shirt. She's so beautiful!

I lived in Korea for 4 years and had a lot of fun dating both casually and seriously. After several serious relationships i realized that the culture was too different, especially if he had never traveled outside of Korea and if he was the first son.

I’m Korean. Cultural differences/upbringing language barrier & prejudice are the biggest factors in why blasian relationships are so difficult in South Korea. Just keeping it real

It's interesting, that they usually mention the language barrier. For me It's a no brainer, that learning the language is the first step. In Korean culture a marriage is between two families and a foreigner should come up with something plus instead of family support. I think parents don't want their children to move to a foreign country or be heartbroken, when the partner go back to her native country country, maybe with the grandchildren.

I see black women, especially young black women in their 20s and 30s getting married here in Korea as long as they don’t mind the conservative culture of the Korean family❤

So many people get its wrong here, the true is its not the color of your skin. Black, brown, white... all look exotic here. A well taken care of skin is pretty regardless of its color. IT'S YOUR FACE. Korean love those European traits, the eyes, the lips, oh, and dont forget THE NOSE. Most African dont have those traits, the typical Afro nose just happen to be the opposite of what they consider pretty.

Be happy. Visit places where you are welcomed. Don’t waste your time and money. There are many nice places in this world because they have nice people.
