Notion Build: Minimal Class Notes, GPA, And Non-Database Tables

📋 Are you looking to use Notion for this school year or want to know more about relations/KaTeX arrangements? Here, I build a minimal class notes dashboard that includes one "classes" database, a "notes" database, and an "assignments" database, of which connect via relations. As well, I include a GPA calculator and separate view for grade monitoring.

24:05 instead of putting the text into a text bracket to create a space between the words, you can also just do \space

'to many databases called notes' I am the same with so many database names the symbols are my savior when playing 😅 If you want to add a space between words in Katex you can use \ with space afterward so it doesn't read it as a command.

another idea!! you could replace the location property of the classes with class code !

Your videos have helped me a lot! I have a question, I have classes that go by different grading systems. But when I input the formula it’s the same for every class. If I change it, it changes for every class. Would I have to make completely different databases for each class?

I am super confused how you got the GPA and grade to show up on the top of the class page from the assignment table. Can you please clarify?

Great post! I have a question: Notion always regard table, no matter inline table or full-page table, as a single subpage to the main page, and it will be displayed in the tree structure of the document on the sidebar. I think this is ridiculous because the table, especially the INLINE table, has no difference to the other blocks, like picture, code or formula. Do we have any method to deal with this?
