To all my 10th class juniors,
(EDIT: scored 95.8% in class 10th) I am currently in class 11th, preparing for JEE at Allen Chandigarh. I know that you are excited and stressed about your first board examination of your life. But please keep these things also in your mind, the things I wish someone told me when I was in 10th -

1. Do not overburden yourself with 10th class studies. Your teachers may tell you that the board paper will be hard, but trust me its easy. They just say stuff like that to keep you serious. But don’t take it to your head. I did and spoiled my mental health around September October last year.
2. Avoid buying any reference books for board studies. Trust me even for mathematics, you don’t need any extra books. Just solve NCERT and NCERT EXEMPLAR is MUST MUST!!! Exemplar has tricky questions which either come directly as 2-3-4 markers or in the form of case studies. When you are done with these two books, start solving previous year papers and sample papers. I repeat NO EXTRA BOOK it will only waste your time and energy. If you find any topic of mathematics difficult, then only solve it from RD Sharma, that too only examples and illustrations.
3. Do map practice for SST beforehand cause its not possible to memorise all places and their locations just a day before exam. And map is where children lose most of their marks. Generally You get marks easily in subjective questions.
4. This point is not related to academics but please please I beg you, KEEP REMINDING YOURSELF THAT 10th class is the LAST year of your school life where you actually have time to relax and do what you love. From 11th class, even if you are not taking science, you will miss 10th class badly cause most of your friends will leave school, you will start preparing for some entrances and you will partially enter into the real world.
Trust me, its been 1.5 month of me studying in Allen preparing for JEE and I cry every second day about how much I miss 10th class. Being unnecessarily stressed about boards and not enjoying the last tension free year of my life (10th class) will forever be my biggest regret 💔

I actually was so tired from overwork and got ill i left my tutions and didn't go to school so i am very behind in most of everything including notes, but thanks for the video it will really help me form a proper routine
