Magnus and Ian couldn't control their laughter because people in the background were clapping and cheering for them when they played "ordinary" moves, thinking that those moves were some kind of brilliancy! This exaggeration was what made them smile! Moreover the Nakamura song can't make Magnus laugh because it wasn't played in the hall.
