I think what helped Magnus turn the corner and get the win was the botez question. Helping him remember how the knight moves was the key here.

I'm proud of Magnus. This is his first win in the World Championship since 2016 against Sergey Karjakin in Game 10.

8 hours... thats incredible. Its insane actually, sometimes I get drained with just the 3 hour classical games...8 hours is unimaginable. Props to them both

There's a man who knows how a knight moves.

One of the greatest games I've seen

Crazy how Jovanka predicted Nepos tilt in future WC games 😲

I think the most exciting part is that Ian will now try to win more aggressively, and that kind of game is what suits both of them.

Chess24 was magnificent in its coverage today.

This game was too short for me, couldn't get enough of it, I wish it lasted for a few hours more

I have watched the best part of every match so far and watched the whole of game 6 and loved it! I didn't even know I liked chess!

I knew Carlsen's endgame prowess will lead to victory. I have enough confidence in Ian to not say before the entire WC started. Ian might make an epic comeback but I think Magnus has it overall.

Ian had the character to get where he is. No accident. Look for an exciting game 7 with chances for both sides.

Magnus needs to thank Andrea for reminding him how the knight moved, that was clutch

When you can back yourself to outmanoeuvre a 2, 782 to win a theoretically drawn position you know you’re on a different level.
Indisputable best end game player of all time and probably to ever live.
