I was a hater of Ben Shapiro and did research on politics to debunk him on things and ended up becoming a huge fan. The guy is extremely knowledgeable and so neutral. Those who say his bigoted and racist etc. should study and be honest in their work.

Taking responsibility is not a popular pastime. People tend to want power without discipline and freedom without risk.

This is a message I have been trying to share with people and Ben does it so eloquently here. Life means risk. Making your own choices means taking responsibility for those choices. When I see other people kowtowing to government control I see people who want to be told what to do simply to absolve themselves of the responsibility for their choices. It makes me sad. That is not the way to live a meaningful life.

This is awesome. Society has been coddled in to a place of insistent comfort. We have been made so incredibly comfortable with the fact that you literally do not have to get out of bed for anything because food, movies, toilet paper, games, everything you can imagine, can be summoned to you from the phone in your pocket...we have developed an aversion to any kind of discomfort. The fact that social media engineers your content to feed you ONLY what you like, builds an aversion to any ideas you don't like because those ideas make you uncomfortable. Dangerous place to be in as a society.
