Got one for “free” with the 2 cam blink bundle on Amazon cost $114. Thanks for the info on what it actually does. Got to think we might need better WiFi though, there’s too many devices on the network.

got one this morning (echo 5) $30 ..i alrdy wanna go to the echo 8 for HD purpose but i hear in general there isn’t mich difference. Thx u soo much for your info-

could I use this to control my amazon Music on my fire TV. I want the music to play from the Fire TV for HDMI UltraHD music support. I would like it to display what is playing so I do not have turn on the main TV when just listening to music.

We have the Echo Show 5, and the audio is very full with good fidelity . . . Until you pair a bluetooth device. . . after you disconnect the bluetooth device and return the audio to the Echo Show 5, the audio is very narrow with no fidelity. To return the audio fidelity to the Echo Show 5, I have to unplug the power for a few seconds, then plug it back in. This also happens when you pair a n Amazon remote. Hope they have a fix on the way.

Got mine for 10$ after buying 3 blink security cameras which were 150$ so 160 for 3 blink outdoor cameras and the echo show 5. EXCELLENT deal!

This DOES have web access, which helps watching YouTube videos 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have this model. Alexa is a great assistant, but the speaker of the Shows is easily the worst of all smart devices, Google or Amazon. I have tweaked the base etc, but the sound remains hollow and very poor.
