F1 2016 (Video Game) Review - The Final Verdict

Authentic and engaging enough for the motorsport diehard, and yet fun and accessible enough for the casual racing game fan, F1 2016 is one of the best recreations of a sport in a video game that I have yet seen- and is an easy recommendation for all racing game fans.

Nice review, I'm really enjoying this game so far. Started in a Renault and managed to, finally, win a GP at the end of the second year. Rarely does a game feel so satisfactory.

One feature I would love to see, for the next iteration maybe, is the ability to create your own team and do a bit of managing aside. Choosing a second driver, engineers, etc.

I'll wait until it goes on sale. I paid full price for 2015 and can't agree with doing that again for 2016.

I don't know if I can trust a racing game review from someone that uses the racing line... and even then, he was all over the track and just didn't have control of the car. Not saying you need to be a pro to make a review, but at least show some competent racing footage.

The only kind of "whiplash" I'm getting is when the AI's won't let off the accelerator when overtaking in the straight, and as soon as they touch you on the straight with little but still enough room to move over, all they want to do is turn into you. So yes, aggressiveness is there but it's too much. Code masters still haven't released a balanced F1 game, although I understand it will be difficult to do so.

Carrer mode is great, alot of options makes this game suitable for all kinds of racers. i will try multiplayer later for sure. This games deserves an 8 or better. Let's say 8.5!!!

for me 2012 was the benchmark but since then I think code masters have been going backwards. TBH I did like the interviews which they seemed to ignore in every game since 2012

Codemasters needs to make a nascar game. They would nail the graphics, driving, and the feel of being a driver.

can you change teams during your career or do you have to stay with the team you first selected

You Missed quiete some stuff First You still Get a Penalty if a bot turns You the Second thing is a complete damage Model is missing ( codemasters usally make a good Job there ) ( DTM Race Drive 2 for example )
