I like to use the steady enchant with any bait that has some resilience on it, since if you mess up even a little bit the -90% progress speed does not make up for it and makes you lose more progress. The steady really makes it like just catching a colossal squid which isn’t as hard.

Honestly, imo, resilient for the Rod of the Depths isn't really worth it when you already have the holly berry since it already gives an extra 10 resilience to the rod, making easier to even catch the serpent to begin with

I got the North Star Serpent using the Rod Of The Depths with Quality Enchant and I got it in jolly mutation

Aint it possible to catch it with the steady enchant? 90-25% would become 65% progress loss, which is much easier considering thats how I managed to catch the phatom meg before the 50, 000kg change. Plus, using the holly give 10 res, which adds 20 making it pretty good and strong.

P.S I could be wrong, but I do like the input.

You could use deep coral that has -10 preferred luck and has 50 resilience

Fisch honestly used to be a lot less grindy, at least when it first released, which wasn't even THAT long ago.

But now it's just filled to the brim of constant grinding that's immensely unfriendly to casual players that don't wish to spend days and weeks of their lives on a game.

Here's a tip. It's pattern is not that hard. It's easier than other mythical. Instead of resilience, get steady. It brings its reduction from 90 to 65% making it easier than most mythicals. Also making it easy to catch for your macro as well

using fungus rod and then switching to the rod you're using after getting the luck boost helps a lot if you don't have a lot of money
