I recently bought the 0.3mm in black and purple. Absolutely love them, along with JetPens in general. In addition, I've bought the FriXion pens as well as a few of the brush pens that you all offer. Love those as well! I own well over 400 pens and JetPens does not help in my addiction lol. Also, these videos are great quality and I could watch them all day!

I was kinda “meh”, when I first dipped into the world of fountain pen with preppy fine and extra fine. I thought gel pens are way smoother and more reliable for many types of paper, but then I tried the medium preppy. Hook, line, and sinker.

I just bought and received a Preppy yesterday, the 0.3mm Fine nib, and it's one of my two favorite cheapo fountain pens (the other being my $1.50 Daiso Japan no-brand fountain). Super-smooth, fun-lookin', and writing is just lovely. :-D

These are great pens. To make sure they write well, I'd use a lubricated ink or one that's considered wet. Monteverde horizon blue or pilot inks. Private reserve has new infinity inks that I'm looking forward to trying.

Interesting but I found my preppy pens dried out. I moved houses while buying a new home and had to box a lot of my items up. I finally found my pens after a couple of years along with my Pilot Petite ones. All stored the same way. The Pilot ones wrote like new, nothing I had to do to them. The Preppy had dried up, along with the cartridges. I had to flush them and install new cartridges. They are still not writing as well as the petite. And before I get comments, I know I should have cleaned and removed the ink before storing.

Coming from a ballpen the fountain pen gives me zero feedback that I don't even know if the nib is touching the paper and I might bend and ruin a few nibs before acquiring the feel of how to write with less force with a fountain pen. I was very surprised.

I've been using using this pen for 2 years now and i just wanna warn you, DO NOT DROP THIS PEN, it WILL break very easily
the plastic seems be super fragile, tho its common sense not to drop your pen, I've noticed these break much more easily compared to other fountain pens I've used, tho this is the only downside to this pen, after 2 years of writting, i can this pen is literal perfection (except ofc the fact that its almost on it's breaking point because of me dropping it all the time :P )
