I felt so understood as a mother - and as a veteran procrastinator. Just today I was struggling with my tendencies regarding my work. This story of trust and just making a small effort, not a grandiose one, and receiving what is divinely given, generously given, is miraculous medicine

farah, i remember watching one of your videos where you were talking about how you finally cut music out of your life and at the time i didnt think i could ever get to that level, its just not something id think id ever want to give up on. but alhamdulillah ive cut out music since ramadan this year, i didnt think i ever could. i just want to thank you so much for making these videos.

what helped me was to focus on three specific parts of my life over the time of 3 months.
setting goals for every month and see what I can do everyday to work towards it.
no distractions, no confusion, you know exactly what you need to do.

i See you as my friend talking to me and motivating me. I lost my parents may Allah have mercy on them. I have no friends, I gave up my music career for the sake of Allah ( it was my best decision). But this Loneliness is really making me small and I overthink a lot. I always have these thoughts that I am not good enough to go to the gym, go and study things and that's because of the silence. no mama no baba no one that could inspire me... please make more content.. you are our last hope... solve problems + risk = reward and more problems. More problems = more goals. If you don't have that reward system, doing everything is impossible.
