What Happens After Your FAFSA® Form Is Processed?

After you’ve submitted your online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, it will be processed in one to three days.

Next, you’ll receive an email with instructions to access your FAFSA Submission Summary. It will include four tabs: Eligibility Overview, FAFSA Form Answers, School Information, and Next Steps. Make sure you review all of the information on your FAFSA Submission Summary carefully.

We’ll share your FAFSA information with your selected schools starting in the first half of March, and you’ll begin receiving personalized aid information from the schools you’ve been accepted to several weeks later." - Direct quote from the website...here it is, END of March and we still aren't seeing any movement. What do you suggest we tell our schools? You know...the ones with deadlines for this information? We just supposed to come up with the money? Or did we forget the entire reason for the FAFSA is because most people can't afford to pay entire tuitions in one lump sum? This has been a fiasco. Unacceptable timelines, lack of communication, and inability to meet deadlines is literally costing us. Do better.

One of the schools I put down said I got approved but couldn't tell me until I enrolled. Well when I got a sight to find out it came up not found. So not sure what to do. I'd there a number for FAFSA or state number?

Mines processed but it’s not showing up on my schools website. I truly rely on the pell grant money in order to go to school right now so this really sucks, I have no idea if I’m gonna be getting the money this semester and now I’m gonna be down 700$ if it doesn’t come through.

Why doesn’t it show if there are any errors? It’s so fishy and confusing what I’m getting it wrong.
