Thanks for the info. What battery times are YOU getting from the 8 and 9 (not what GoPro advertises)? I'm still using Hero 2014 head-mounted for archery kills (less shake during shot) and I'm looking at upgrade options. I have to mount it a few degrees to my left to frame target at full draw and was looking for better solutions, and as you pointed out, weight is a factor. Thanks again!

New hero9 owner. Filming similar things to you with dogs in the feild (hounds) do you have some good go too settings to start with for this type footage in regards to what K and fps. In both regular and slo mo. Thanks.

Battery life...I turned off the front screen just to save battery life. You could also turn off WiFi depending on how you use it.
