Lin's backhand is just speechless, heaven-sent.

He'll be another world champion in a few short years. He's experimenting, exploiting and adjusting throughout the match. Can see how/when he wants to win a point at will, incredible. Togami's completely outplayed, fell behind Lin's rhythm (control). BTW, not many top players can defend/come back to win a point (except Xu Xin, our cloud walker) but Lin actually wins by counter-attacking instead of forcing opponent error. All he needs now is more experience and consistency. Should take over Ma Long next year. Awesome talent. China often creates players to beat champions, that's how powerful their system is.

What is that sound of marbles falling I keep hearing? Is that bolts falling off inside the table?

Japanese players who roar at every single point they win, like togami and t. harimoto must lean how to control themselves tactically without repetitive choing. They seem to lose points so easily when their opponents catch their rhythm and win the points in a row.

Commentator is waffling. Fan Zhendong was far better at 18. He needs to watch more table tennis.

Who at the top of @WTT is appropriating money for them self so that they need to use this idiotic side of the table angle just to put more advertisements in the frame? Imagine how much more incredible it would be to see this match with bilateral dynamics.

Togami plays to straight. Just technique with almost no tactics. Japanese version of Hugo Calderoni. IMO, Alexis easily destroys Lin and that is no disrespect to his game. His style is too tactical. Chop blocks, no spin, side spins with a lot of variations. Not just topspin to topspin rallies like two bots.
