They would've died in the Cell saga when Gohan and Cell beam clash together. It was vegeta who shocked Cell the most to make him lose focus without that they was all cooked.

I don't like how Vegeta wasn't given the victory against 'Golden Frieza', but the story required it, as Vegeta would've slaughtered Frieza. Personally, I would've preferred that battle to happen as it did until Goku is shot by Sorbet, that part shouldn't have happened, Goku should've beat up Frieza more, and when Frieza was supposed to destroy Earth, Vegeta should've seen it and teleported in front of Goku, kicked him to stop him, beaten him up a bit, then "blast him into space dust!"

Frieza is team rocket now. He's still evil but he's the homie after the ToP. He even saved them from Gas and spared their lives after flexing on them. Shouldn't be a problem since their buddies with mass killers like Beerus and Zeno.

The writers have a grudge against vegeta. They want everyone to like goku and hate vegeta so bad that they give goku plot armor. But then people still like vegeta more anyway cause hes obviously the more sophisticated character

In the Broly movie Vegeta didn't even get the chance to go Super Saiyan Blue before Goku interrupted.

Also, Goku and Frieza's history practically started on Namek whereas Vegeta and Frieza's drama go way back to Planet Vegeta when Vegeta was a child. Vegeta was even bodied by Frieza.

Therefore, Vegeta should be the one to unalive Frieza.

Bringing him back from the dead for the Tournament of Power was a dope idea though.

Vegeta not being able to defeat Baby is an homage to Majin Vegeta where he still had his desires for a while but the difference is that Vegeta was under Baby’s control longer than he was under Babidi’s control because he died

Other shonen have compelling and threatening side villains, so that side characters get shine. DB just throws a big villain at you and uses Vegeta or Picollo's new power up or form just to show how much stronger and how much of a threat said villain is.
