Books I remember reading from school were: Percy Jackson, The Outsiders, Milkweed, Sherlock Holmes, Scarlet Letter, and The Great Gatsby

Outsiders was amazing and heartbreaking lol. I enjoyed lord of the flies as well, but only the plot, not so much the writing style

I read Black Beauty, but on my own time. It wasn’t really “aesthetic.” It was actually really sad and a good example of the abuse carriage horses had (and still do) go through.

In all my years at school, I’ve only liked two of the books we had to read for school, and one of them I’d already read a couple years ago; that one was the Hunger Games, and the other one I liked was the Outsiders.

I had to read “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas”. It’s quite literally one the saddest books i have read. Yet i rate it a 11/10. I loved the writing. everything about it. It’s a realistic-fiction based on the Holocaust. ;-(

I had to read the giver last year and it was good but hated the ending. Solid 7/10. It has a really good concept but I truly do wish the author had elaborated more at the end and I would have been satisfied.

The Secret Keeper in 6th grade. It’s shifts your way of thinking and the “secret” at the end is heartbreaking.
