I work at a clothing store and I’m amazed that you’ve taught me more than my entire time at work

You are the best for pure detailed information about men's style. I've not found anything better.

This is funny, my brother and I were discussing the declining standards of clothing these days compared to what we wore in our youth. The dissapearance of collar stays being an example.

I say this everywhere, just buy second hand/outlet goods. I've bought a dozen dress pants 100% wool for 5-10$ because they load up on older models, I've had pairs from 2005 even. But what does the model year matter to a classic design? It doesn't.

The incredible practicality and usefulness of this video is why I always refer to Mr. Centeno as my "Style Mentor."

Just a FYI for those who may not know this already. Designer brands are available for cheaper, more affordable prices at outlet stores like Burlington (aka Burlington Coat Factory), TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. for the very reasons you're pointing out in this video. The clothing that wasn't stitched properly during production makes it to these outlet stores for a much cheaper rate. Like 80% and 90% off. This can be a good way to get a few designer items in your wardrobe for mad cheap. This can be especially good for college students in need of some business and business casual pieces at affordable prices.

I got a custom Spier and Mackay shirt and I have to say I'm impressed. It passed all the sign of great quality from this video.
Edit: Also want to add, the content in this video is seriously amazing. This could easily be hours of research for most of us but is consolidated in 20 mins.

Thumbnail is misleading. You can have hidden sole stitching which is the most luxury finish you can get. Check Gaziano and Girling or Edward Green for examples. Lots of medium to upper tier brands use this method.

These are the kind of content I enjoy most from you, Antonio. PLEASE do more!!!

Pattern matching is the "surgeon cuff" of shirts. Manufacturers discovered guys were using this to determine quality and with current machine technology, it now means nothing. You can find pattern matching on shirts and suits with functional cuffs, stacked/kissing buttons at H&M.

Great information that people don't know any longer. We, as a culture, buy disposable everything and don't understand quality doesn't necessarily mean expensive.

Man, I hate watching these videos. I cannot unsee all the imperfections in my clothes...

Love the video! I haven’t watched RMRS in a time and I must say, I love how you are switching up your presentation of content. Very entertaining, informative, and worth sharing!

Split yoke is a bit tricky; it's a mainstay for most quality RTW English shirts (Turnbull & Asser, Hilditch & Key, etc) but there are many, many excellent RTW Italian shirt makers--Marol, Barba, Borrelli, Finnamore, etc which do not.

Very high quality Goodyear welted shoes sometimes hide the stitch on the sole by pulling up a thin bit of the leather. But if you're buying shoes at that price point you'd probably know this.

You're the best at presenting basic stuff and making it interesting. Keep at it Antonio.
