I used to have this really bad as a kid 😭 im greatful that as an adult it has calmed down a lot. But i used to feel so guilty for my thoughts.

I kinda do this, but verbally, and I kinda figured it out on my own tbh. Most nights I monologue in a room alone. And, as I also want to create stories, sometimes I monologue as my characters, including my antagonists. So I eventually came to the realization that "I'm not my antagonist. I created him. His thoughts and applications are simply my creativity, not my desires."

I've started doing your suggested exercise of writing down statements that bring up my core fear (also can use intrusive thoughts as mentioned in this video) and taping them around my house so I see them every time I walk by. It has been helping. I'm about to begin another round addressing my core fears more directly.

I have this thing where I have intrusive thoughts but then I think other people can read my mind and these thoughts I find it so distressing 😔 apparently it’s quite common does anyone else have this?
