Mom said I can't go out today, I have to become a pure form of abstract energy and travel the cosmos tonight

When you suffer from depression anxiety and other mental issues of sort, the sounds in albums like these are kinda the feeling and sounds you feel and hear inside your head.

This album is so eerie with the way it blends into the dark colors of the artwork. It feels like the regretful final memories of someone who only lived to make it to a better future plummeting to their sudden death, having lived an entire life of rigidity and unfulfillment. The music doesn't try to scare you, but it comes with a dark presence that you make out for yourself.

This would play in a museum of all your memories

Awesome. Towers 1 introduces me to a day in the life of a hopeless soul stuck in the rat race. Helpless and screaming quietly to themselves. Towers2 is the day their world changed forever. I heard the planes coming and the impact so close. The airplane fuel pouring from the ceiling. Towers 3 I followed the person through the stairwell. The yelling and confusion, trying to keep calm. Running down the stairs as the sprinklers gushed all around. Voices yelling and the twisted sound of metal and concrete straining to stay in tact. Towers 4 I listened as the citizen struggled to get out. The building failing above, the water pouring and the voices muffled. Finally breaking through the doors into the streets as the building comes down. Running, dont look back. People yelling, crying, screaming and calling out. Fire hoses, rubble falling all around. Finally stop and look back. Nothing, destruction, hopelessness. Great job.

I started listening to this album at 5AM with some immersive headphones, laying in the dark with my eyes closed. I was so sonically gripped and my chest tightened with the music, everytime I tried relaxing into sleep I was shook by the sound. I had a dream of being back home at my mother's house, with the same headphones on, sitting up in my chair at my desk and watching a music video. The music was similar to what I was listening to, but the video had characters dancing in it, characters that looked like formations of white clay molded together, but never sculpted to perfection. I thought that hours and hours had passed and that YouTube had continued autoplaying similar albums into the morning through my dream filled sleep, but I was wrong. I was woken up by my mother in my dream pulling off one side of my headphones from my ear, and when I opened my eyes I saw one of the same white figures from my dream standing over my bed, less than a foot away from me. As a first reaction I immediately grabbed the headphones by the center and threw them into the person with full force only to hear the plastic crunch against my wall. Needless to say I had a fit of anxiety and needed to gather my composure afterwards. I rolled over to find my phone for a distraction, maybe to see what music had continued playing through the night that had spooked me so bad. To my surprise, the album was still playing, and the final seconds ticked on right in front of my eyes until the replay button appeared in the middle of the screen. I checked the time, 5:58AM. I would have bet my life that I had those headphones on for 3 hours at least, but I didn't even make it to one.

this brings me back to playing PS1 when all the game music was more ambient to fit the tone of certain levels! it’s kind of a lost art now i love ambient music in games it makes it feel so much more immersive

When I heard this, it painted a picture of a stranded astronaut just floating around space with only one air tank left. He sees the beauty in space and it’s surrounding bodies but he also knows that he doesn’t have a lot of air left

You can notice the darker it gets with each tower, it’s like... saying that the further you fall the more you realize the mistake you’ve made and want to take it all back before it all ends.. but it fades into nothing as you’re too late

One of my favorite ways to listen to this album is while driving. At traffic lights, I watch tree branches waving in the wind, people crossing the road almost in slow motion, the rhythmic blink of indicator signals ahead. It's even better when driving at night, seeing the amber streetlights pass over, gliding through overpasses. The drifting tones bring your mind to a calm awareness, the world around you unfolding like scenes from a movie.

Found this from a youtube video that called in unsettling, but I find this album to be pretty comfy to be honest.

I see this as someone that has jumped from a building or bridge to die and the sounds in this are the feelings of relief, uncertainty if they should've done it, thinking about what it's going to be like when the finally hit and their souls leave their body. If they will be reincarnated into a different life or a different world. Already missing what little loved ones they are leaving behind, a sense of numbness so many thoughts that may run through their head in such a short period of time in between the time that they jump and the time that they hit the ground.

This album really gives me chill, especially when I listened to it during the 20th anniversary of 9/11 alongside  猫 シ Corp's News at 11.

Falling Man: "I've seen things you wouldn't believe...! Towers burning on horizon. The orchestral wailing of people frantically skittering like insects among the falling wreckage. Light burning endlessly in the night sky like a sea of divine milk and the calm....the neverending quiet of *slowly closing eyes awaiting his impending fate below as time have felt like it has frozen*
