What defines a good film is not the thought of the critics, but the spark of the audience and those that care. Transformers One creators had that spark (minus the marketing team) and we the audience have that spark in us.

Moana 2 was basically a lazy rehash of the first movie, with characters we didn't care for, a fake-out villain, and they stupidly resurrected Moana too

meanwhile Transformers One is out here showing Sentinel killing most of the primes, Orion Pax getting shot through the shoulder with his bits flying everywhere, D-16 letting him die/killing him, D-16 ripping Sentinel in half, a really cool duel between Optimus Prime and Megatron, Optimus Prime throwing a fucking missile into a High Guard member's body, and Optimus Prime throwing another High Guard member into a building. HOW DID THIS NOT GET NOMINATED?!?!?!?!?!

Nowdays it's better to watch animated feature films from other animation studios than Disney. Transformers One, The Wild Robot, Look Back, Ultraman Rising and Chicken For Linda! are great examples.

Poor Transformers: One, man. It just keeps getting Ls over and over. This film truly deserves so much better. Thank you to Josh Cooley, ILM, and everyone who worked on this movie for giving us, what is now essentially, a lightning in a bottle.
